Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You have the right to a replacement or refund in the case of a major failure, as well as compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the goods do not meet acceptable industry standards but do not constitute a major failure, you are entitled to have them repaired or replaced.

Glass Warranty Coverage

Platinum Glass and Security guarantees that all goods supplied (excluding consumables such as fly mesh and beading) will be free from defects caused by faulty workmanship or materials for:

• One (1) year for standard goods

• One (1) year for moving parts, including but not limited to hardware
 

This warranty begins from the date of delivery. Additionally, we ensure that all services provided are carried out with due care and skill.

Warranty Conditions

For the warranty to remain valid, the following conditions must be met:

• Goods not installed by Platinum Glass and Security must be installed and maintained according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

• The goods must not have been subjected to misuse, abuse, or neglect.

• Variations in manufacturing standards, industry tolerances, and natural differences in the color of aluminum or glass components are not considered defects.

Important Notes

• Glass Breakage: Platinum Glass and Security does not cover glass breakage.

• Double Glazing: We will replace double glazing if there are marks between the panes or moisture buildup resulting in fogging, provided the product has been properly maintained.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, the customer must:

1. Notify us in writing within 7 days of identifying the defect.

2. Provide a copy of the original order and invoice. Failure to provide these documents will result in the claim being rejected.
